My 1st Graphic 45 easel card

Good morning everyone hope your all enjoying the holidays i am and so far no illness fingers crossed anyway lol .
I have been creating again even thou most of you would have already seen this card on you tube and your paper pantry I'm going to put it on here cos I'm so proud of my self for using the little amount of graphic 45 i have lol.
I was so scared to use it because its so hard to get over here in the UK either that or I'm not looking in the right places which is about right for me lol.
This is my card, i was given some graphic 45 papers from a lovely woman in the states that i did a swap with and she sent me some gorgeous papers which i was hording and didn't want to use them because then they'd be all gone lol i no i no but I'm very protective of my craft stash when my kids go through my draws looking for paper and pens and stickers i could cry lol.

My version of the webster pages trim and Wow i just love it !!!

Oh my gosh i am so so so pleased with this trim i was just sitting around looking for something new to create when i came across the Webster's pages website
And i was looking for some of the Bloomers trim but it was not available over in the UK so i checked out eBay and one of the sellers wanted £21.86 just to ship and that was only for a yard of one colour and i don't have that kind of money just for one item.
So i looked up the trim and had a good look at it and tried to figure out how they made it well this is what i came up with.
I used white cotton for the first one i tried and i was so pleased with how it turned out then i was taking my washing out my washing machine and stood there for what felt like 10 Min's looking at a pillow case lol yes that is what the cream trim is made of and that turned out so much better then the white as it frayed lovely.

This is the cream one hung over my graphic 45 easel card i made isn't it just stunning hanging there in all its glory lol
I'm sorry if I'm blowing my own trumpet but i am so pleased with this accomplishment and i just cant believe how easy it was.

This is the white version what do you think, I laid in bed last night and made it in two more colours to one in peach and one in pink and oh the peach is very pretty.
I am so overwhelmed with the reaction it got on my you tube channel
so many comments and I'd like to thank you all so very much they were all so very kind and a tutorial will be coming later on today woo hoo.
Take care and happy crafting x

Twilight tag swap with Bona @ keep on scrappin

This was an awsome swap cos i a mental Twilight fan read all the books and some of them twice have all the soundtracks and films that you can get anyhow and when Bona from
and live love scrap on you tube came up with a Twilight swap i was straight in there.
You could pick from 3 groups your fav scenes or team Edward or team Jacob of course i picked my fav scene which is the forest scene so the lion fell in love with the lamb and this is my creation.
Unfortunatly the back is not finished as my baby boy got sick at this point but i'm sure the swapies wont mind i have explained to Bona so hopefully she will be ok.

Fabric flowers for sale

Hi everyone it's been a while i have had 2 very poorly little boys with croup not nice at all as it a night time virus. It does sound worse than it is but its still very scary especially because my eldest panics and struggles to breath bless him.
So i haven't managed to get allot of crafting done what i have managed to do thou whilst laying in bed watching TV was a few fabric flowers.
I went shopping with my mum into a large department store we have here in UK and looked at fabric per metre. Well omg we was stunned now I'm not loaded but i like to bargain buy with my craft money lol as do all crafters I'm sure.
Well anyway the cheapest piece of fabric was calico yes calico but that's not it, it was £7.49 per metre OMG i no see i did say i was stunned. So my dear mother suggested going to our local market and looking on the fabric stall so off we went well actually my mum went in a clothes shop and me and my youngest went to the market.
That was more like there was hundreds of rolls of fabric so i started looking round firstly i got some tulle in different colours only a £1.00 a metre. Then i asked if they had any off cut bags for sale and he took me over to box that was like a flower makers Aladdin's cave with a big sign above it that said 50p there was fabric in there that was 3 metres long.
So yes i brought the lot lol there was some really beautiful fabrics in there, and I'd had lots of ideas going round in my head for some flowers i wanted to make so when i got home after getting the kids from school and all the homework was done and pj's were on i waited for the house to go silent gathered my materials and up the wooden hill i went.
Here is some of the flowers i had come up with
I loved the way they turned out with the gorgeous vintage buttons i found on ebay the my creative imagination was going ten to the dozen and i came up with these
please go over to my Etsy shop and check them out as I'm selling them
I love the lollipop flowers the way its really crinkled up made the petals look even more life like it's amazing what you can make with a few off cuts of fabric and a needle and thread in fact i bet you could even go through your old clothes and find some fantastic fabrics to use.
Hope you enjoyed my rambling lol can't you tell I've been away lol well back on  track now i promise
Happy crafting everyone huge hugs from me x

June tag swap with Pretty Paper Boutique

I joined a swap at the pretty paper boutique
with Marie we got placed in groups and made 8 tags the theme was to use a dress form image or die cut.
And also some extra bits of embellishment you'd find at a sewing shop.
This is my tag i am really pleased with how it turned out i found this lovely image on the Internet of a vintage dress form poster and i mod podge it in to some heavy weight card then made some paper flowers and added some lace and trim to both ends of the tag like a petticoat.
Then i made one of the fabric flowers i have seen my dear friend Tiffany Morgan make on her YouTube videos please go check her out she is mamatiffy and her blog is amazing
Tiffany makes the most creative stuff i just love to watch her work and create.

I really had loads of fun making these tags but i overloaded in June so I'm chilling in July just gonna craft for me and some close friends.
