Altered Clock

Hi everyone not posted in a while as I took the kiddies on a mini break to Hastings. 

Well needed and well worth it absolutely loved it beautiful part of England.

So before I left I primed the clock and got it ready then while I was away all I could think about was this clock lol.

We got back Monday and today is the first chance I've had to get in my craft room and with our glorious British weather it's been raining all day which is perfect for me as I'll not be cooking whilst working haha.

 This is my altered clock it's large and I was a big worried I'd aimed to high and wouldn't do it justice.

But oh my how pleased I am with the finished result, I used the Prima Lyric line such beautiful papers :)

I also used some dusty attic chipboard pieces and Tim Holt ideology numbers and wild orchid craft and I am roses flowers, trims and lace and so much shimmer.

Altered Treasure Chest

Good afternoon everyone I've entered into an amazing design team call with Lavish Laces I've entered my memories 12x12 layout but wanted to enter a mixed media altered project to.

There is a video uploaded on YouTube with more detailed description and a tutorial to.

This was such a fun project I used the Prima Devine Collection ....I mean who can resist the new prima lines there just stunning, I primed the box with gesso first then used my mica sprays and glimmer mists to get the look and colours I wanted :)

And then well what can I say flowers lace flowers trim flowers flowers all the way lolI just love the embellishment part of a project watching it all come together :)

Mixed media memories layout

Happy Sunday :) I've completed my 12x12 memories layout of my son at 2 weeks old, it seemed to of taken ages waiting for bits to come I'm post and then my vagabond broke and was waiting for sizzix to send out another one lol oh the joys.

I'm so pleased with how it turned out it has lots of texture and I even made my own glimmer mist as I needed a certain colour and didn't have it in my collection.

I also used one of my favourite techniques stamping into texture paste and I'm loving how it turned .

My First Mixed Media Canvas : Fly

Here's my very first mixed media canvas I'm so happy with how it turned out,
There's so much texture and so much shimmer.

I brought the canvas's in a pack of four and got stuck in firstly using some modelling paste and tissue paper then gesso'd over the top.
Grabbed lots of embellishments like iamroses flowers, wild orchid craft flowers metal embellishments and other items out my stash.

Then I gesso over everything and sprayed and sprayed with my glimmer mists I uses apple, latte, cork and electric blue

I just love how it turned out

Prima Almanac Altered Heart

Good day I've bin away for so long simply couldn't get in my craft room but now there's no stopping me I'm back with vengeance lol

I just love these photos of me and my baby girl when we was in holiday in Cornwall last year.

I used lots of trim and flowers it's a very busy layout but I love it lol

Altered PaperBag With Songbird By Prima

Hi everyone, I've joined a challenge on you tube called altered PaperBag challenge. The hostess Lydia has a channel called ItripledogdareU, you have to check out her channel :)

It had to have a pocket and a note card made or shop brought but everything else was up to our imagination.

I used the song bird collection by Prima and made a note card and i also wanted to add something else so I made a matching tag.
I used some trim out my stash and added Venise lace over the top, of course I had to add flowers lol and a Tim Holtz ticket lol ....
